Housing Ministry budget set at JD125 million

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced that its 2007 budget will reach JD125 million, a reduction of 7 per cent on last year’s budget.

During a press conference yesterday, Minister of Public Works and Housing Hosni Abu Gheida said a percentage of this year’s budget will be allocated to redesign dangerous intersections across the country.

The minister said around JD70 million will also be allocated for the construction of new buildings at the Ministry of Finance.
